From Puerto Williams on the Navarino Island it is possible to trek a loop of the Dientes mountains. This is a 3 to 4 day trek that leaves and returns to the town. There are other trails on the island that continue to the south or to Puerto Toro. Further through the canals and fiords we can trek on the islands or the mainland to the mountains and glaciars of Sierra Darwin. Also before or after your tour onboard we can show you the options for treking in and around Ushuaia. These include some easy treks within the national park to some more strenuous 3 to 5 day treks that can take you to Fagnano lake.

Mountaineering - Puerto Williams, Ushuaia, Glaciars

The area around Ushuaia in Argentina and the fiords of the Magallanes has an amazing range of mountains. These are not the highest in the world as they only reach between 1000m and 2000m, but it's they rise directly from sea level, and that some contain glaciars and snow peaked mountains all year round. This gives the perfect oportunity to practice mountaneering without the risks of high altitudes. Many mountain summits in the area have yet to be named so you can explore and discover new peaks. Also you can practice activities such as rock climbing, glaciar traverse, cross country skiing, and ice waterfall climbing. You will need to be experienced and you will need your own equipment for this.

Kayaking - Fiords, bahia Lapataia

We can organise kayaking excursions from Ushuaia to the surrounding bays and canals of the Magallanes for the more experienced.

Scuba Diving - Ushuaia

From Ushuaia it is possible to go scuba diving in the area. Using dry suit scuba gear you can dive to see the local centolla.
